not to long ago i was an ordinary man, like you. i woke, i toiled and i payed taxes to those dogs that run us. i remember it like it was yesterday. i was sleeping when they attacked. a whole platoon of confederate shock troops descended into out city. they slaughtered thousands and took more. that night the the confederacy took my land and my belongings, but they did not take my hope, armed with my grandfathers clockwork pistol and the rest of my credits i set out for a new life. i bought a small steam vessel and tagged it "liberation". i assembled a crew of out casts and rejects, we now fight for those with out a voice, we defend against the glass pirates and we look towards a brighter future. i ask of those present today, those who have been affected, those who want change and those who are tired of cowering in fear..
